- - Emilio José Salinero

“I went to a speech therapist for 13 years, to learn to speak, read lips and re-educate the noises of our environment with special deaf headphones. Speech theraphy is a real music conservatory of sound. When I didn’t know to speak, my real language was movement and vibrations. The fusion between images of our environment and vibrations increased the strong synaesthete imagination. I began to play vocal sound in the bathroom when I was a child, because in this space I could feel amazing vibrations. During my teenager crisis, and while I was a rebel guy, I decided to learn to play guitar to imitate grunge style. It was difficult to me, I was able to move my finger as a guitar player, but I couldn’t learn the songs. I couldn’t listen the songs to imitate them. I decided to switch my guitar to pencils and paintbrushes. I immediately discovered that pencils and paintbrush were real musical instruments.

The images, draws, and pictures are real sound and not analytics writings. The laptop is a real musical instrument for deaf, because is easy to compose music across visual shapes without listen anything...
I am a noise painter”

Sincerely,
Emilio José Salinero García
