Música & Arquitectura
We understand that architecture is a space used by humans for living. It can be natural or built by their own hands. This wide definition of architecture makes us think about architecture as the primary art form, just because the other arts are "hidden" and "inside" the architecture. But in our case, architecture is not only a musical collector that is executed, but also its resonance boxes are part of the music itself, making possible a game between music and architecture.
We work with architectures that have a special acoustic. They can be historical monuments or more conventional architectures like for instance a gym. They all have certain characteristics that are good for playing with sound. Urban spaces are also included, that is the case of the last piece named La Línea - La Habana.
These works come both from sound interventions done in these spaces and field sound recordings, which lately were edited at LIEM (Laboratorio de Informática e Electrónica Musical) of CDMC in Madird.
