Txesus Garate. Donostia, 1969.

He is one of the veterans of the wide experimental sound scene of Basque Country. He began to present his works under the Tzesne alias at the end of the 90s, after he left behind another rock and dark electronic projects. Since then, he has been working with sound textures and field recordings, and as a result of all these years of work, he has developed a special interest in sound as a poetic shape and also in its graphic representation. He has released his work under several labels like Ruidemos, Drone Records, TIBProd, Antifrost, Mystery Sea, Triple Bath, and also under his own label SeriesNegras.
